The Indian Republic Day is a national holiday to mark the acceptance of the Constitution of India from the British on January 26th, 1950. India has three national holidays and they are 15th August 1947 Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti (Mahatma Gandhi Birthday) on 2nd October and Republic Day on 26th January.
